neighbour

tres bon maison has a few minor quirks - such as that the gate to the complex is on strike. this morning, whilst shaving, i notice the neighbour return from a walk with the dogs (yeah the bathroom window overlooks the complex entrance). i made myself presentable in seconds and raced downstairs to introduce myself. mission was to enquire about the laminated print that is attached to the complex gate (note arrived yesterday), politely requesting to keep it closed! strange? no, not at all: the automation aspect of the gate is broken. well, actually the motors aren't there at all - on face value it looks like a case of south african "redistribution".

long and short of the story is that Jo is very nice and happen to know people from my Firm - small world! she's sent an email to the powers that be requesting for the gate to be fixed.

miracles

this morning a little miracle happened - rachel pitched up. albeit slightly late thanks to a road block on rivonia rd. tres bon maison was in a rather respectable state, given the week from hell I've had to survive (4hrs ave sleep per night thanks to work) but rachel has a magic influence! nice. everything is becoming squeaky clean - as if by magic. angles exist!
